The Morton Municipal Code is a compilation of current ordinances adopted by the City Council. Following adoption, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Municipal Code. The City of Morton is governed in accordance with the Code, which is updated as the City grows and changes. Business License Application

The City of Morton has partnered with the Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) for Business Licensing services.

DOR will process the City of Morton business licenses and renewals from now on. If you start a new business in Morton, you must apply to the DOR.

Application for reservations may be picked up and turned in at City Hall.  The key may be obtained one day prior to the event and returned the day following the event. Chairs and tables are available and alcohol may be served with proper liquor permits. Download the Application for Reservation.

Rental Fees:

Multi-Purpose Room:

  • Refundable $150 Deposit
  • Morton Resident:  $100 minimum, $25 per hour over 4 hours
  • Non-Resident:  $150 minimum, $35 per hour over 4 hours

Conference Room:

  • Refundable $150 Deposit
  • Morton Resident:  $150 minimum, $35 per hour over 4 hours
  • Non-Resident:  $175 minimum, $35 per hour over 4 hours

Kitchen:

  • Rental available with rental of either the multipurpose room or the conference room.
  • Morton Resident:  $50
  • Non-Resident:  $75

Full Time Park Manager

The City of Morton is looking for a full-time park manager. Manager to live on site in modular home owned by the City. This position requires a “people person” who can remain positive and calm in stressful situations. Must have a positive attitude and maintain
good rapport with guests. Must be self-motivated, trustworthy and dependable. Physical demands include the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions ability to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs. The city will provide water/sewer/electricity and garbage. The manager will be required to sign a one (1) year contract with the City of Morton.
